ABOUT

Them Juggling Cats

Bachelor of Audio

SAE Qantm

Tri 5/18

Our aim is to present a production company that creates studio productions and post production products.

We will be creating a website platform for cross discipline collaboration where our media will be hosted. Our post production project is a clip from ‘Master and Commander’.

Our Studio production is a song and possibly 3 – 4 song EP by Christoph and the Top Knots. Our cross collaboration projects will involve design students for logo and graphic design to go on the website and other merchandise samples. Working with film students, we hope to create a ‘making of’ mini-documentary which will also be hosted on the website.

Hello I’m T, I’m a live sound engineer, sound collector, and rubber duck collector.  I began working in live sound at the tender age of 17, and spent a lot of time on the job learning the in’s and out’s of live audio production, lighting, and visuals.  Two years later and I have had the amazing opportunity to work at four of Australia’s best music festivals (Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Island Vibe, and the Mullumbimby Music Festival)  Currently studying a Bachelor of Audio majoring in Post Production at SAE Institute Byron Bay I hope to take my technical and theoretical skills to new levels.

In September of 2017 I mixed my first commercial released live album for Sydney and Kallidad; recorded at Hotel Brunswick on May 7th 2017 featuring violin accompaniment from Bella Vita.  This is the largest project I have worked on to date, but is hopefully the first of many.

Click the picture to find the album!

Though live sound will always be where my heart belongs I have developed a  strong passion for sound design and am in the process of creating some free sound library for download, stay tuned for further updates in this area.

When I’m not working on exciting projects I spend my free time crocheting, crying at Disney films, and exploring the amazing coastlines and locations around my beautiful home!

Founder & Collaborator

Jules Quirin, born Naessa Lit'hiriel, was born during the First Age, in the realm of Avalon. He was still a young elf when his  Migration happened, and had to follow his elders to the New Land, that we now know under the name of Middle Earth.

After a long journey, he settled South of the Hithaeglir, in the elven town of Rivendell. Surrounded by peace and nature, he spent most of his time playing the luth or the flute, as a form of communication between him and the wilderness.

As a young adult (couple of centuries old), he was fascinated by other worlds and cultures. Always lost in his mind and own fantasies, he decided to leave the mountainside and explore the world. He then traveled to Rohan, land of the First Men, descendants of the Men of Numenör. Soon enough, his curiosity for the race of men brought him to travel even further, and he settled in Edhellond, main port of Gondor.

The harbor was always really active, due to the constant flow of merchants, and he quickly made himself a reputation as a tavern musician. People from Haradwaith to Eriadore were traveling halfway across Middle Earth to be enchanted by the infamous elven melodies.

He is now traveling around the unknown Western Territories, perfecting his art and exploring new lands. Once every hundred years, or so, when the sun doth shine, and the moon doth glow, and the grass doth grow, he comes back to his childhood home of Rivendell, as a starting point for a Middle Earth music tour.
